Lectron Electronics Teaching Kit

Lectron system

We have a Lectron electronics teaching kit that helps quickly set up and explain basic analog circuits. It uses an ingenious magnetic baseplate that doubles as ground connection. Components have magnets to connect to each other and the plate where necessary. It's the only system that lets you build a working circuit that looks just like the circuit schematic. The system dates back to the 60's and was invented in Germany, with later input from Braun's star designer, Dieter Rams. Our kit was purchased in 2018 from the German Lectron manufacturer. For more historical information, see the Lectron community home page.
