From 2015 to 2016, I worked at i10 on my bachelor thesis, titled FLApp: Bringing Augmented Reality to Mobile Tourist Guide Systems. Supervised by Philipp Wacker, we realized an Augmented Reality experience for a mobile application (FLApp) as part of the Future Lab Aachen project. Citing the thesis' abstract:

In this thesis, we present the design, development, and documentation of a framework for the Apple iOS mobile operating system. This framework uses commercial technology to realize an Augmented Reality experience. During conception, we evaluated several tracking approaches, 3D rendering methods, and third-party Augmented Reality frameworks. In a post hoc evaluation, we measured the framework’s rendering performance on various devices.
