15-50: 15 Jahre i10 und 50 Jahre Jan

Am Freitag, den 9. November 2018 feiern wir gleich zwei Jubiläen auf einmal: Der Lehrstuhl i10 besteht dann 15 Jahre und sein Leiter Prof. Jan Borchers selbst 50 Jahre.

Natürlich wird der Nachmittag i10-typisch interaktiv und unterhaltsam. Los geht's im großen Seminarraum der Informatik (neuer Erweiterungsbau E3, 3. Stock, Raum 9222, Zufahrt und Parkplatz an der Mies-van-der-Rohe-Straße 35) um 15 Uhr. Später gehen wir hinüber zum Lehrstuhl in den 2. Stock im Informatik-Hauptbau. Anschließend geht's zum Dinner um 19 Uhr in den Ratskeller im historischen Aachener Rathaus am Markt.

15-50: 15 Years of i10 and 50 Years of Jan

On Friday, November 9, 2018, we celebrate two anniversaries at once: Our chair has been around for 15 years this fall, and its head Prof. Jan Borchers just turned 50!

Of course, this is going to be an interactive and fun afternoon, i10-style. We're starting at 3pm in the main computer science seminar room (new building E3, 3rd floor, room 9222, access and parking from Mies-van-der-Rohe-Str. 35), later we'll walk over to the chair on the second floor of the main CS building (Ahornstr. 55), and we'll have dinner in the Ratskeller in Aachen's historic Town Hall at 7pm.
