Temporary Diploma Thesis Title: "Design, Implementation, and Validation of a Graphical User Interface for Gear Simulation"

This is an interdisciplinary effort located at the WZL Gear Department (Prof. Brecher / Prof. Klocke)

At the WZL gear department, there are currently six simulation tools for gear manufacturing and tooth contact analysis (usage simulation) in use. Each of these is implemented in Fortran and has a standalone user Interface written in JAVA.
Goal of this final thesis is to combine the user interfaces of these tools in one framework.

Focus of this work is to develop a new GUI concept to increase working speed and reduce learning time of the system.
