Project Background

Building Instructions to integrate the sensor onto a piece of cloth

• Mark the sensing area

• Sew raised borders on the front of the supporting fabric

• Apply glue on the back of the supporting fabric

• Remove the paper

• Glue the conductive fabric

• Attach the connection

• Add the textile mesh as spacing layer and the rubber outline

• Add the piezoresistive foil with the sensor connections

• Add a layer of lining fabric

• Sew the periphery on the front

• Sewn sensor on the back

• Sewn sensor on the front
