Aachen Maker Meetup #122 (Wed, Nov 20, 2019): 3D Printing with Stereolithography

This month's Aachen Maker Meetup focused on stereolithography, a photonic 3D printing technology. Instead of formal talks, discussions happened hands-on in the Fab Lab.

Our Formlabs Form 2 3D printer in the Fab Lab has recently been upgraded with the original Formlabs IPA (alcohol) washing station and UV light curing station for post-processing. In preparation for today's meetup, Professor Jan Borchers wrote a new tutorial page for the printer, and we printed some successful pieces.

Another highlight was a music device Frederik made.

In addition, several participants brought projects that they presented and discussed in the meeting. Markus Ermert brought along a Gemma M0, a board that Prof. Jan Borchers presented at this Meetup a few months ago, and experimented with the CircuitPython implementation running on it.
