Aluminum Profiles from Rose&Krieger

Purpose

We use the large, strong Rose & Krieger aluminum profile system to rapidly build stable tables, walls, supports for mounting cameras for experiments, or whatever you may need to construct mechanically. Profile diameter is 40 x 40 mm.

If you need something smaller, we also have the MakerBeam aluminum profile system with a profile diameter of 10 x 10 mm. The Rose & Krieger system is more professional and faster to assemble though.

The following pictures represent those parts of the Rose & Krieger system that are widely used at i10 or are present. They are taken from the much more extensive product catalogue for Blocan Profil-Montagesysteme that you should find at Rose and Krieger.

Cutting Profiles

We can cut profiles using our table saw, but only after 5 pm, and it has to happen outside (it's very loud). Ask in the Fab Lab for more information.
