Preparations for Rex-Preview, July 2005

- Attract-State Video: a final version will have to be recorded on-scene
- Gecko needs to know technical specs of the components (size, power consumption, BTUs etc.), so he can figure out where to fit them

Who's currently doing what
- Nils: currently integrating code from preliminary tests into framework (audio finished, video next, port of Anthropics once it's there)
- Daniel: will next work on HTK speech models (perhaps get Student to do it)
- Gecko: is ready to work, but we've given inconsistent data on what we want - should be informed more clearly about what our system will look like
- Pfeistner: idle, must be notified of our requirements (Samples + Transscript) - possibly a lot more work than expected (if medieval speech training is necessary, we'll need 600 sentences!)
DONEs
- beamer setup seems promising (angles and necessary keystone correction are sufficient)
- iSight tests behind thin gauze (black/white colored sides)
- not useful: poor video quality, iSight focuses gaze
- 30 second trailer
