Building a Coding Agent

These are the notes for a quick 1-hour hands-on workshop to get developers, or CS undergraduate and graduate students, up to speed on how coding agents for LLM-supported software development work — by building a simple coding agent themselves. The workshop uses Anthropic's Claude LLM, and is largely based on Geoffrey Huntley's excellent talk and his GitHub repository on the topic.
