I have started working as a research assistant at the Media Computing Group in June 2025. My research interests lie in Brain-Computer Interfacing.

Thesis Supervisions

In general, I am interested in supervising theses in the area of Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), especially EEG. I can offer topics with a focus on the implementation of new applications (either backend-heavy, usually in Python and potentially involving signal processing and machine learning algorithms, or frontend-heavy focusing on the design of interfaces using EEG data), but also topics that center around user studies or literature research. If you are interested in writing a thesis with me, please think about your interests and strengths beforehand so that we can find a topic that fits. I do not expect any previous knowledge from a thesis student, as long as you are willing and motivated to learn the necessary skills during your thesis. Be aware, however, that BCI is a rather challenging research area, as it covers multiple disciplines, requiring at least some basic understanding of neuroscience, signal processing, potentially machine learning and human-computer interaction.

Current supervisions are marked with *.
