Games Night

During the pandemic we're not meeting in person. Check out the #game-night Slack channel for our online meetups.

At Games Night, we get together at the lab with typically around 5 to 15 people to play board games at one or more tables in parallel. We have a variety of both English and German games available. Some recent favorites include Discover: Lands Unknown, Gloomhaven, T.I.M.E., Pandemic: Legacy, Pandemic: The Cure, Legenden von Andor, Colt Express, Space Cadets Dice Duel, Escape: The Curse of the Temple, and others.

When: Our games night takes place once a month on a Monday, from 6:30pm to around 11pm. We order food between 6:30pm and 7pm. Join our Slack channel #boardgamegeeks to be notified of the next event.

Where: Ahornstr. 55, second floor, Media Computing Group (Lehrstuhl Informatik 10), seminar room 2222. (Directions)

Useful Local Resources

The White Rabbit on Wirichsbongardstraße opened in 2022 and is the best local store for boardgames. (The Würfelkiste on Jakobstraße closed in 2021). Resist the one-click online shopping reflex and check them out! You won't regret it.
