Analog Console (Helle Köpfe)

dwDWQDW.jpeg

This was a project developed for the Helle Köpfe initiative. It is a game console that operates without a microcontroller. The core game mechanic relies on obstacles at the back of the game area being covered with conductive materials such as aluminum foil or copper tape. Attached to the player figure is a rod with two electrical contacts. When these contacts touch a conductive surface, the circuit closes and triggers a vibration motor, indicating a collision — and thus, a loss.

The motoriezed version of the console has a switch and a button. The switch reverses the polarity of the motor to drive it forwards/backwards. The button closes the cuircuit to the motor to "run" the game.

If you like to change the game cartridge first bring the game into the start or end position and use the transport clamp to fix the game in place, then the game is safly removable.
