MakerMeetup #177: Tabletop, Tools, Tinkering & Art

For Maker Meetup this month

Martin brought a cool physical phenomena. When moving the wooden stick its tip will always stay stable on the same position.

Inspired by M.C. Escher's 'Relativity' an eager maker designed a 3D variant which Birgit had printed in a marvelous marble optic with an ambient backlight. The other project is are the prints and a laser cut sign that will be placed in a diorama later on, which she hopefully show us in a future Meetup.

Klaus came up with quiet a few things. Some clamps for e.g. sheets of paper and a decoration in form of a cute little rabbit. There also was a hut rail mount for a 'shelly' to bring home automation not to your flush-mounted box but directly to the fuse box. A much more maintanable way for home automation of this kind. And if you want to put your name on your property there was also a very stylish name-"plate".

Robert printed an all extensions included settler of catan game with a custom made laser cut storage box. A great way to bring an all time classic to your shelves.
