Remote Access

VPN

To connect to the RWTH network from the outside, use the RWTH VPN server. See the RWTH VPN Guide for setup instructions.

SVN and Git

SVN and Git can't be accessed from the outside of the RWTH network.

From inside the RWTH network, SVN and Git can be accessed also via SSH. See the SVN Guide or the Git Guide for setup instructions.

SMB and AFP

SMB (highly preferred) and AFP are only accessible from inside the RWTH network. Connect to smb://oliver.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/Public.
