From Apple:
  • Apple's MacOS X page - get the marketing babble.
  • Apple's MacOS X support - where to go once you figure out the marketing babble was just marketing babble. Contains some nice introduction to basic operations (using Email, burning CDs) and links to support forums.
  • Apple's OS X resources - links to knowledge base articles, books and discussion forums. Not as much information as one would like to have, unfortunately.
  • Apple Developer Connection - if you want to get deeper into developing on OS X, get a free web account here or the student subscription (which also includes a ~20% hardware discount!).
  • Apple's developer pages - here you will find some information about developing on and for MacOS X.

Some links to help you get started with OS X:
  • OS X Beginner - a 4 page PDF file with some references to MacOS 9. Good if you are familiar with OS 9 but new to OS X.
  • O'Reilly Mac Center - resources for those who come from Unix, lots of good information. See also MacDevCenter.
