Software

The software part of the project was done in Max/MSP. The patch is rather simple: The input from each sensor is normalized to a value range between 0 and 1. One sensor is mapped to the volume of the base frequency f, the others to the volumes of the harmonics of that frequency 2*f, 3*f, and 4*f. The addition of these frequencies produces the final sound. The buttons are used to select the base frequency.
