Assignment 10

Tasks

During the test session for every user was prepared a list with 9 small tasks, which was made to show us how some specific features of our interface work in reality. The list involved the next tasks:

• Start the Travel Optimiser
• Set a route from Köln Hauptbahnhof to Bonn Hauptbahnhof. The time of departure is 10:30 on 25.02.2004
• Sort the available routes by the price of the route
• Try to see the later available routes
• Check details for a specific available route
• Accept one of the available routes
• Imagine there is a change in the route you have set. See the details for the corresponding change
• Imagine you are traveling in a bus and your smart phone notifies you that you have to change the vehicle. See the details for the corresponding change
• Imagine you are traveling and suddenly your smart phone rings and there is a Last Connection Missed message. What are you going to do now?

Second DIA iteration: changes in the prototype after user testing

• In the first screen, we droped the seconds on the time field due to the fact that such a precission is not necessary
• Also in the same screen we add a little indication of the format in wich the date has to be introduced
