After
an elaborate brainstorming session, we managed to generate
around 34 different ideas. During the brainstorming session,
little or no consideration was given to implementational
details, replication of ideas and other such factors. The
emphasis was on breadth rather than depth. The initial brainstorming
session took around 10 minutes. After the initial brainstorming
session, we went through exhaustive discussions not only
within our own group but also with our teaching assistants
via email and direct discussions. After this painful and
time-consuming process, we decided to select "Mobile
GIS" with mutual consent from our teaching assistant
Tico Ballagas.
